Hi, new here and found this forum by googling. Just introducing myself.

I wanted to ask a few questions in a new thread topic I was thinking about starting, but I figured it would be better to say hello first. :)

I was looking for Cyprus gun laws and I wondered if there was a forum with the subject since shotgun sports are big in Cyprus. This forum looked interesting and where I might find some info, so I joined.

Thank you.

The questions are about Cyprus gun laws. If any rifles are allowed at all, what types of shotguns are allowed and gun politics or attitude towards guns in general.

I have a fully automatic rifle but that is not for any sport ;) But you are right that shotgun sports are big here. We have some world champions in trap and skeet.

I mean rifles without being in the army reserves. :D

By the way, here in America the full auto are used for sport on occasion. 8)

Last time I was in Cyprus I remember seeing the shotgun club stickers. I heard about the popularity of the sport and it made me wonder something else today. Does Cyprus have an Olympic pistol shooting team?
I guess pistols are not allowed in Cyprus (officially :wink: ).
