Give Up 34 Years of Struggle ?

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Cyprus Problem - The problem is Turkey and the fanatics in the north who support Turkish Expansionism.

Lets test your credibility, what were the GCs doing during 1963 and 1974? If it were proven to you that TCs were thrown out of government in 1963 at gun point what would you think?

It's your cedibility that is in question again. Where have 45-50 years of the partitionist isolations you approve of got the northern community? Your false promises have got them nowhere. You know this.

Try answering the question rather than avoiding it, this does nothing for your credibility.

This is the question that was asked of YOU Why are YOU mot answering it?

Is it because the false promises have got you nowhere? Is it because the false promises were designed to do nothing other than allow Turkey to annex the north? You know I'm right. :)

I would say that you are a delusional idiot. The TCs were never thrown out of government at gunpoint in 63. Some constitutional amendments were put forward and the TCs withdrew from government on their own accord and the proposed amendments were never ratified which means that if you guys had any integrity you would have returned to exercise your rights as protected by the 1960 constitution.

But no, this did not fit in with TMT's and Turkey's plans for taksim.

VP, while I applaud your commitment to your beliefs, I feel sorry that your delusion has gone this far. It is a truly sad thing that you and other members of your community fail to see just how brainwashed and insignificant you really are.

Your state is a joke, a little fantasy land where you live on stolen property and ill-gotten gains, almost entirely dependant on Mama Turkiye for support. Your politicians are a bunch of puppets with their masters in Ankara pulling all the strings.

You don't see that your version of democracy doesn't even exist as you are told what to think and what to vote. You are given a 'symbolic' vote to make you think that what you want matters, when all you are is a group of pawns used by Turkey to legitimise their expansionism.

They paid you off with the spoils of the invasion, indoctrinate you with messages of love and support from Turkey and at the same time convince you that 'Greeks' want to murder you. Everything you say is just another slogan, another made up statistic, another lie. They keep you down through your own ignorance and tell you that it is for the best, and you all just lap it up like good little drones.

Now you want to hang some more flags and throw parades, deluded into thinking that it's a celebration of your freedom, when all you people are and all you have been for the last 34 years is Turkey's bitch. You mock the Republic of Cyprus and throw around your 'donkey with a saddle' phrase but don't see what utter failures you and your 'TRNC' compatriots are.

Despite the fact that you were given everything and enjoy the support of your 'great' Turkish nation, you have achieved absolutely nothing. You are just a bunch of lazy, ignorant whingers, forever blaming your myriad of short-comings on 'the GCs that have always oppressed us'. Even if that was true, what have you done for yourselves lately? Why is it that you remain a crippled nation, living like parasites off the remnants of what you stole?

Your complete devaluation of human life is utterly deplorable, but no surprise given the fact that you people are happy to desecrate cemetaries and live on land stained by the blood of their true owners. The fact that you can find excuses for blatant murder and ethnic cleansing is testament to the successful indoctrination of your people and your inherent barbarism without which the former would not have taken hold so easily.

Now, don't worry, nobody expects you to change your ways, you're too far gone. All I would suggest is that if there is ever a solution that involves Cypriots living together in any way, then please have the decency to draw together all your fellow Turkish lackeys and get on the first banana boat back to Turkey as you are not Cypriots and will have nothing to offer a unified Cyprus.

I wont keep you any longer, I'm sure you have a parade to attend where Mr Erdogan and his little friend Talat will give you a nice Turkish flag to wave and tell you how much Mama Turkiye loves you.

Thats what you have been spoon fed and thats all you want to believe but try pushing your boundaries, if we were not forced out why did you not listen to your own supreme court? and why when we wanted to return you wanted to force the Akritas plan upon us?

Yia sou Manga Magnus.

Allow me to also tell the self-delusional VP what the past 34 years have brought to the community Free Areas.

I first visited the Island in 1976. Many friends and relatives were still in tents in the refugee camps living off aid from overseas. The fools like VP would be forgiven for saying that the southern community was on its knees and out for good and that Turkey's foul goal of Taksim was achieved with no further opposition possible. We all know and I saw with my visits in the late 70's and early '80's to the present day, the remarkable economic transformation that took place.

This recovery from the foul Turkish Invasion, this miracle, has been on a par with the post-war recoveries of Germany and Japan. From the utter desperation of the refugee camps, living on hand-outs to a prosperity and freedom that match any in modern-day Europe and all done with heads held high.

Contrast this with the moral and financial bankruptcy of the north that has bred a contempt for any known human values of moral behaviour and which has bred an indoctrination in some that any notion of respect for laws and other people are to be treated with contempt. The only thing that remains of value is the survival of self-imposed prison of the north and its foul partitionist Turkish regime. A moral hellish turpitude is where the Partitionists have led the northern community.

I expect no less or no more from you as you are a typical GC who will never see beyond their own needs and rights. Look at it from this side of the fence, if what we have is so bad then why arent we all running south to the promised land? People in the north are not stupid they look at it from this angle if whats on offer is better than what we have today then they will evaluate what it will bring in the future but if it does not define a better future then no one will want to unite with the south.

Other issues which you have to deal with is that we are here to stay and we will not being going anywhere, we are 2 equal communities with just as much stake in this island as each other, we will not disolve and no one can force us to disolve the TRNC which you still believe is non exsist, the fact it is not recognized does not mean it does not exsist, tell that to the police as you cross the border I sure they will agree with you. You also have to agree a solution with us that will address all our concerns you cannot mock or sweep them under the carpet hoping they will go away. The AP is a prime example of how things will turn out neither side will be 100% satisifyed so the sooner you understand that neither side is 100% right and the other side 100% wrong the soner you make move towards a solution otherwise we will do what we wish in the north and there absolutely nothing you cna do about it or you would have many years ago. The fact that no one has come to your rescue is a clear sign that no side is totally right or 100% guilt free.

The reasons you aren't all running south are quite simple.

Firstly, there is a significant number of your people who DO run south every day to earn their living then go back to your 'TRNC'. This isn't because they don't like the RoC but rather because the 'TRNC' is where their free house is.

Secondly, some of your more 'committed' types have been indoctrinated far too well by the Turks and live in a delusional state where they think that it is their 'choice' to remain in the 'TRNC'. Unfortunately, these people are incapable of seeing that they don't really have a choice as Mama Turkiye wants a colony and gave them a house on someone else's land so she can have that colony and use the saps as an excuse to hold onto it.

Thirdly, we have those who are under no illusions but are basically evil and have no problem with the immorality of their situation and even take joy in bragging about their perceived superiority. These traitors are obviously the worst of the bunch.

Fourthly, we have the lazy freeloaders. These are the people that may not be entirely evil but are happy to live off the invasion spoils and handouts from Turkey simply because they are too idle to work and make something of themselves. There's no free ride in the RoC so they stay where they are.

Fifthly, we have those that can see how things are but after being indoctrinated for so long they can't see a way out. In other words, they are buried so far in their own manure that they can't come out with out stinking so they stay in there.

Finally we have the people that can see what's going on and want to help get you people out of it. Unfortuntely these individuals are in the minority. Some of them may even live in fear of what may happen to them if they attempt to disagree with the Turkish regime.

How exactly are there two 'equal' sides with an 'equal' stake in the island? Your people form the minority not only in terms of numbers but also in contribution to the island. It is the RoC that has brought Cyprus to it's modern status (socially, politically and economically), not you lot. In fact, in the case of unification, what do you people have to offer? The land you occupy isn't yours, you have no economic wealth to contribute and no discernible useful skills or technical expertise that aren't surpassed by the RoC. What exactly will you people offer a unified Cyprus?

Now I notice that over the last couple of days you have latched onto the idea of saying that 'nobody has come to your rescue for 34 years', and you have a fair point. What you fail to see is that we don't need to be rescued. At some point, Mama Turkiye will realise that she has more to gain from letting you go than keeping you. Then you will lose your handouts and where will you turn?

We could also consider that just because the international community has done little for Cyprus so far doesn't mean this will always be the case. We can wait, we're good at that and we've got time to play with.

As for taking into account your demands during negotiations I wonder who really cares? You can kick and scream all you want, but if Turkey wants to join the EU then she has to leave you. The more you reject any true democratic solution then the more unreasonable you will appear to be, and we have far more allies than you have. If you think the EU will allow itself to be humiliated over your 'TRNC' then you're wrong.

Besides, there is a good chance that the negotiations are only happening for the sake of appearances. I'm sure I don't need to tell you that politics is 99% show. All we have to do is play nice with you for a while and let law and economics deal with you.
