Now why do you consider Cyprus a bogus republic?

As I said before you sing the Greek national anthem and can't even stop flying the Greek flag infront of official buildings .

Umit you do not legitimise grabbing half the county's assets because you did not like the National anthem nor the flag.

...what's more then go and do exactly the same thing but now decide it is acceptable.

Does this mean a country would be justified in invading Australia for flying the Union Jack?

Sorry Unit, but your argument does not hold any water.

We have fundamental differences in beliefs, the Turkish people and the people of the World.

The rest of us know too that grabbing things that don't belong to us is easy. But we don't do it because we know it is wrong, both morally and legally.

We know there are those that choose self-delusion as a means to live comfortably with this crime, still others, feeble excuses.

That then becomes a further crime against yourself as your purpose for living has become worthless and a danger to Mankind.

Societies based on such practices as those of Turkish people, do not last because they are against nature.

As such the honest majority will always oppose these individuals upsetting the rightful order of things.

This is why the UN condemns the actions of Turkey.

As I also said many times , the cancer of Cyprus is the national anthems of the two foreign countries involved and their respective flags , especially that monstrosity on the Cypriot mountain range , and illuminated too , how vulgar how dated how sad.

Its a reminder that we exists and will continue to exsist as long as you continue to want to force us into a minority status within a Gc state run purely by GCs. Have you seen the 2 new massive flags on the way to Girne?

unders the normal rules of negotiation this would be correct, but when one party (GC) have the other (you) by the short and curlies you will accept our terms. Like we have been saying, Turkey is negotiating here not the TCs (dream on mate), so Turkey needs us and she will eventually bow. The TCs are an insignificant consequence to this problem, but we have been giving you the benefit of the doubt, but now it is the bigs boys turn to do the talking.

VP, together with your other little TC buddies go play, let us do our own dealing, because the way I see it, even if there is a solution, we know that one part is ours, the other will be the Mainlanders and you will STILL be a minority. You are such a PLONKER (to use the words of a famous forumer)

You have had 3 years to do your worse and what have you achieved? zilch....you are full of words and no action, you thought the EU will force Turkey to concede to your wishes but still zilch....do your worse lets see you are not all talk which imo you are. No one cares enough to rush to your rescue, its been 34 years today and even an EU members have given zilch and zilch will be your result as long as you conitnue to maintain the same mentality you have been showing for 48 years which has lost you 37% of the island and 20% of the population.

VP , you know well enough my views on flags , the cancer of any society . Blind nationalistic jingoism is anathema to any country more so to Turkey a nation that still has on its legislature an article prohibiting its people from criticizing the nation. The criteria of measuring a nations progress into the 21 st century is the ability of its people to think , digest and offer criticism if need be without the fear of being arrested and charged.
What a wonderful site , two massive flags to remind the T/Cs that they are under the occupation of Turkey !!

Its a matter of viewpoint, the flags for many reflect the love between Turks and TCs for each other and cooperation that exsists which never exsisted between the TCs and GCs during the 1960s. I know this is something GCs do not want to hear or can even digest but look at it from our side, turkey has been oour only ally for over 48 years came and saved our people from GC risk and discrimination, they now support us even today both financially and morally quite a big contrast from GCs, now who do you think these people will choose if it came down to it?

The fact of the matter is that our northern community have been led up the garden path by the partitionists and extreme taksim fanatics. First in 63 when they walked out of government and then again in 74. On both occasions being promised freedoms and prosperity. :D :D

So what have some 45 years of these false promises got them? Nowhere except to the purgatory of isolation and international condemnation.

Cyprus Problem - The problem is Turkey and the fanatics in the north who support Turkish Expansionism.
