GREEK TOURISTS TRAVEL WITH FERRY SERVICES TO MERSIN

Postby soyer » Fri Jul 18, 2008 1:05 pm

It is indicated that the number of Greek Tourists travelling with ferry services between TRNC-Turkey has increased.

It is also stated that Greek Cypriots could enter Turkey without any limitation and that was the main reason in this increase.

A one month tourist visa for 10 Euros or 15 dollars is being applied to the Greek Cypriot passports at any customs office when they enter Turkey.

If the Greek Cypriots apply to the Turkish Embassy in Lefko?a or any other Turkish Embassy then they do not pay any fee for the one month visa.

It is also indicated that Georgian origin Greeks who live in Cyprus travel through TRNC ports and go to their countries over Turkey and also Turkey has been a new tourist destination for the Greek Cypriots who wonder Turkey.

What Turkish Embassy? There is no Turkish Embassy in Cyprus!! :? :? :? :? :?

An embassy is by definition a diplomatic mission representing it's government to the host state.

The only recognized state, The Republic of Cyprus, does not have any diplomatic ties with Turkey and as a result there is no legitimate Turkish Embassy!!!
