So O do you not think its co-incidence that this article has been published at this time- i mean to coincide with the events of 34 years ago.
Do they have a similar commitee in the north do you know?
I don't know of a similar committee in the north, but if they were supposedly collecting data there, I would not trust it, as the people are under occupation by a foreign army, and their statements would be suspect at the very least!
BTW ... no not co-incidence IMO ... unlikely!
The data would be taken from people who witnessed the events that took place and therefore should be taken in equal value as a GC giving evidence. I find your remarks insulting towards many of my relatives who suffered under GCs. Their story matters as much as yours. We live in the 20th century but I still have to put up with racist arrogant opinions by the likes of you. I am not at all surprised why the TC rather stick with Turkey when we know what you fuckers think of TCs.
Today and every year like today we look history in the eyes - learn not to let someone's tears deceive us.
Today, and every year like today let us carefully touch the following images on the scale of our historical consciousness: On the one hand Tassos Papadopoulos' "I have received internationally recognized state, I will not surrender a community" and on the other "peace and reconciliation, security and protection within the framework of the EU. We can't make the decision for you. We are waiting for your own. " by Coffee Annan.
On the one hand the "Continuation of the role of Public Servant is not ensured in united Cyprus" by the government and the call on the general secretariat of agricultural organizations to farmers "to respond with a firm, definite NO", and on the other the President of the European Parliament Pat Cox who he mentioned a morbid Cypriot spectacle that does not meet the criteria of Copenhagen's democracy.
On the one hand the government propaganda for NO through serials, schools and society as a whole and on the other Günter Verheugen's statement that the Republic of Kazakhstan "failed, provoked and deceived him. "
From one of the words of Chrysostomos Paphos that on May 1st "what we did not achieve in 55, that is, the union with the motherland, we achieve through Europe ... to open champagne and celebrate the unification after Greece through Europe" and on the other hand Jacques Poos' statement: "We call on the e/c and t/c to leave nationalism out"
Before we leave the scales behind us, let's look into the eyes of the crowd of T/Ks who gathered in the streets and sang Tellyrkotissa in Greek and Turkish. Where they wrote on their banners "Yes! With my mother".
Today and every year like today, let's look history in the eyes - let's not let someone's tears deceive us.
''The latest ‘Cyprus File’ volume is now available on Greece’s parliamentary website as part of sharing information into the events of and leading up to the 1974 coup.''
