Does CF need an image consultant?

So having read some of the replies here it appears that the image of the 'other' forum is artificially sweet. Fair enough the administrator can run the site as s/he likes, but surely it's unfair to allow negative comments about us CFers (ha ha) while censoring other posts when they get a bit more... controversial? After all, if they're going to be the 'nice forum' then they should be 'nice' about everything.
I completely agree with Lana's comments about us being far more diverse than the other fora in terms of the membership, and I think it's this diversity that makes us the best. We have every opinion you can think of on here and I think the best part is that some of us can knock lumps out of each other in the CyProb section but can still share a joke or talk about other stuff in 'General' before we go back to trying to poke each other's eyes out.
Besides, I thought the whole point of the internet is to allow us to communicate with other people beyond our immediate surroundings. After all, if I want to talk to my neighbours, then why not go and see them in the local pub/kafeneion instead?

I hate hunting as much as most people, but poor old Purdey! He attempted to start a thread on CL on this subject in a quite uncontroversial way; having been told to 'feck off' along the way, Jim then locked it. A second thread appeared, attracting more abuse to Purdey and he was told 'this Forum is not for hunters' !!!! Can you believe it? And they condem CF!!!

Shame I missed that ... I am staying away on principle.
Can't believe they would be anti-hunting, unless they thought purdey was Greek
