No .... BA were not interested in a Vet's anything for transporting the terrapin ... just a pet shop receipt ! :evil:

Would it be considered as Fraud if I bought another terrapin ... gave it to someone in the village, and used that certificate for Sparky instead? :?

8) maybe they just want verification of what it is.....i see baby tortoises are for sale in Cyprus, but bringing them into the uk is strictly forbidden.
Not everyone knows the difference....

Oracle, what has a receipt from a pet shop got to do with it anyway? Proof that its purchased and not poached? :lol:

No, not native (here or there)!!! But they are becoming a menace in the UK ,when people let them go into rivers and lakes when they get "bored" (the owners that is, not the T's - or maybe both)! Thats why I don't understand being able to just hop on a plane with one.
