Sensed something before it has happened?

Seen a ghost? Felt a presence?

Something you just cannot explain :?

I haven't personally, but my friend saw the Aberfan disaster on the TV (she was about 8 yrs old) before it happened, by about 1 and a half hours. She was having breakfast in front of the TV, and told her mum that "a school got buried". Her Mum kept watching the TV but it came on as a newsflash at least one and a half hours later. My friend doesn't remember it at all, but her Mum never forgot.

Nope I hardly ever watch TV ... I know about that programe because one of the mum's from school had her Manor featured.

My husband has sensed / seen the "little girl" in the doorway too and now neither of us spends time in the basement (her most frequented area) on our own.

Hubby is a sceptic though too and tries to explain it away.

But one time whilst we were decorating, we started to take the pictures off the wall ... well I have a Byzantine Icon collection (replicas  ) ..... and we found one particularly heavy silver decorated Icon of "Madonna and Child" attached to the wall by some force, slightly away from the picture hooks ... but without any strings or nails etc.

It was just "on the wall" without being held up by anything.

My husband and I experienced this together otherwise neither would have believed the other ...

Does anyone watch 'Crossing over with John Edward' or the likes?
I have watched these a few times and I cannot work out if they are for real or staged!

SSBubbles,

If you have seen "Leap of Faith" with Steve Martin you will have seen all the tricks that can be used to do this.

Er ... humbug? ... If it wasn't for ...

A few years ago I was at the bottom of our garden when this very vibrant ball of very bright light appeared. It was about the size of a football, almost completely spherical but with a few streamers. It was floating about four to five feet above the ground and moving from side to side a foot or so and making a sort of crackling noise. It was about ten feet away from where I stood.

In that instant of a situation, my rational, curious, scientific nature tried to come up with an explanation. The memory banks were searched and I realised what it was but the natural instinct for self-survival told me to leg it, which is, sadly, what I did, back to the safety of the house for a few moments.

I went back out there but knew it wouldn't be there. I was so lucky to have witnessed a very, very rare natural phenomenon.

i have had several experiences. i used to see my mom after she died, on many occasions.
my cat that was so speical to me came back 3 times to make herself known.
i had a friend who died of a heart attack, he came back to say goodbye.
my grandfatehr came back to say goodbye.
i had an interesting encounter in a mcdonalds once a few years ago, that involved a tray flying across the room. and at the church service for boss's father's funeral, i saw the deceased hanging around his family.
