I hate Kolokasi. Piselia yiakni me arni with loads of fresh garlic crushed over it. You don't have many friends after it, but who cares.

no, I don't want you to write me a Cypriot recipe book:) I find it fascinating that we all add or do something just a little bit different with our dishes.... like adding garlic to piselia.

I love flaounes and I often wonder who came up with this pastry like flaounes.... who would have thought to mix cheese, eggs, flour sultanas etc and wrap this concoction up in pastry?

I think it was a builder going by the consistency of most of the ones we get given at easter.

lol.... you obviously haven't tried mine!

I must admit, I was in Cyprus over Easter and brought a few (at 3 pounds each!!!!) but none tasted as good as the ones Mum and I make.... even if I say so myself
