I have forgotten the name of the restaurant, but it was "over the top Taj Mahal" in style, and had seating in a basement. The curries are still memorable though ..... they were so tastefully finished off with lots of chopped fresh herbs and cucumber etc. Mmmm. 8)

Exactly where was "near"Milton keynes Oracle?? lakes estate perhaps???
pity you didnt stay a bit longer - it now boasts one of the finer curry restaurants in UK
M.K is fine - its just some of the people that live in it! it was good enough for the Romans.....

Hmm ~ the Lakes estate, what a lovely place .

Went there to see someone on a social visit a few years ago due to their long term sickness and the poor guy spent the whole of my visit staring out of the window in case someone decided to nick something from my car .

Definitely not recommended after dark

sounds like the usual sort of estate that can be found alaround the uk. our neighbours went to milton keynes, thank god for that, he was a nutter, she was a drunk, the daughter a lesbian stabbed her girlfriend outside in the close. got home and saw paramedics and police , wondered what the hell happened.

In one of the surrounding villages that had not been swallowed up by then (some 15 years ago now) ... and not too far from the "Concrete Cows"

I loved the cycle paths around there ... but that was about all, and we moved to a real part of Olde Englande  after that.
