Archbishop II. Hrisostomos criticized the Greek Cypriot and Greek governments due to their attitudes concerning the Cyprus problem in a statement that he made in Athens University.

Archbishop II. Hrisostomos claimed that “South Cyprus did not take advantages of the EU membership” and “a good Talat legend that would solve the Cyprus problem was created with social meetings and dinners”, and he defended that “the Greek Cypriot side surrendered itself and committed itself to bad results.”

Claiming that the terms of ‘Greek and Turkish founder states’ were used for the first time, Archbishop II. Hrisostomos proposed that the check-points between TRNC and South Cyprus should be closed; because they served the economical interests of Turkey.

The check points must be closed for a main simple reason. Because same is showing a co-operation of Free Cyprus with occupation forces.

Persona give a sheet what Archiepiscop is saying however on this certain item i fully agree with him for different reasons, of course.

Tonight i am watching the famous RIK TV (THE MOST STUPID TV AND JURNALISTS IN THE WEST WORLD) HAVING AN OLD T/C WITH ROLANDIS trying to prove to us that there was not a Turkish invasion in Cyprus.

It became a fashion to G/CS politicians to try to prove bthat the blame o Cyprus problem is on Greeks side.

What they do no understand is that the pension of G/Cs becam limited for their stupiness and hey will be surprised of people reaction in near future.

I also want and hope similar to Archbishop II. Hrisostomos for check points to be closed. That will be step forward to permanent partition of North Cyprus and south Cyprus, which will lead to TRNC recognition unavoidable in very near future.

why am i not surprised?? there isn't much difference between you & Hrisostomos..
We are in this shit because your kind wanted Taksim & his kind wanted Enosis..

well...you can dream & hope as much as you like sunshine...it ain't going to happen and there is fuck all you can do about it!!

Just wait and see, if they don't accept our equality which they never do what you thing it will happen. You possible accept being second class citizen which i have doubt about it, majority of us will never accept.

Well i have news for you....Thanks to Turkeys policies there will not be any first or second class TC's left in Cyprus anyway...Is that what you wanted for you people? (i am assuming you are a TC)

little tom souyer the fibber is upset coz kikapu sprung him...

well Iceman in that case we must try or insist to change them policies, North Cyprus is our land regardless political situation. We don't have another country this is our only home, believe it will be very wrong to let others look-down to us in our own country Turks from Turkey or Greeks all the same.

First of all you must change your mentality and accept the whole of Cyprus as your home (as it is to other Cypriots) and not just the north.
If you don't look down on yourself no one else can look down on you.

soyer, the north of Cyprus IS NOT your land my dead-end-friend. It's where you been dwelling for a few years. Its just ironic the way you use the term "Our land" and count out GC's. Why do you waste so much of your time on here, knowing that your going back to Turkey? I know why, because you NEVER knew how to do anything productive with your time except to bark like a baby.

...i can expect the Archbishop's political opinion given that the authority in the north deems it fitting to collect money from tourists who visit Apostolos Andreas, and who have no support but by the 'secular' state of Turkey, where schools are kept closed so that he has a scarcity of priests.

soyer, that you think you will find peace behind a closed border, you are mistaken. A border assures the Armies will be there, and that they will grow. A Solution can only come from your brethren if we are united, and as this island's dwellers we are Free from being the subjects of Interlocutors who for their own design seek to keep us divided.

Well said RW,

The moment you have armies on the island, as some propose we do in this BBF plan, then they will do what armies do. They will draw plans to neutralise each other, the intelligence officers will spy on everyone and organize support networks among the local population and we will be back to 1963 in no time.

Iceman you are absolutely correct and that is why I consider you as my Cypriot compatriot and a friend too . When I visited Kyrenia on two occasions I expressed the same sentiments to you and Halil , that I did not see Kyrenia or any other part of Cyprus as foreign to me , all of our towns and villages make up our Cyprus , yours , mine and Soyers' too if only he could see that.
