Male cousins went off in car leaving behind wives and mums. So I went over for advice. Head of family mum said "You have to kill it since you have a child" . Cousin said "She's too English! Leave a saucer of milk and shut all the other doors!" But cousin's German wife said "Come on, ve can getit oot!" 8)

So to the sounds of Son playing Guitar Heroes III ( "Devil went down to Georgia" is still ringing in my ears  ) .... we battled with brooms and moving furniture. After too many close encounters where I ended up eye-ball to eye-ball with it whilst peering under bed thus gaining much German kudos (not easy to impress them :D ) ... German cousin-in-law grabbed it with the BBQ tongs and marched out into the garden, just in time for it to fall into the mint border ....

Have a photo of it so may try and up-load later .....

Need a dip in the sea .... to calm nerves!

Thanks for being there folks.

Talisker sarcasm duly noted

Well done! Score a win for the ladies :D

Also, well done to Oracle Jnr for great choice of background tune (Levellers version is the best). I hope it was on Playstation and not Xbox.

Magnus ... it is the Wii version of Guitar Heroes III ... he has a guitar that he plays along to the notes .... he has become rather good (scores of > 98% whatever that means :? ) .... but he plays it soooo loud

"Paint it Black" used to be a fave for me ... but now I am not too sure :P

Ahh, didn't know it was available on the Wii. He probably gets you all playing those mad sports games. Maybe he could take up the guitar for real if he's doing well at Guitar Heroes. I've seen people playing it but never had a go myself. I love 'Paint It Black'!

Please turn down the sound first O! Having listened to my son all week - and driving me mad in the process - we have come to a compromise - until he gets 'quite good' at a new tune, the sound is at a minimum!

Good news about the snake though!
