There's nothing wrong in Peyia that a rising sea level (about 100 ft.) can't sort out 8)

( ... and then of course it can recede again! :wink: )

I'll answer in RichardB's absence if I may, as it was addressed to myself and I know the context of the quote.

Richard was referring to exchanges in Cyprus Problem section with CanDiaz, who was claiming to be Spanish, but is so anti-Greek Cypriot with very little reason, and indeed appeared to know even less about Spanish politics, other than the usual mention of the Inquisition and South American connections, that he is suspected of not being Spanish at all.

So Richard was not being anti-Spanish, neither was anyone else other than CanDiaz if he is using that as a cover.

I'm so sorry to hear that somebody is pretending to be Spanish to denigrate the GC's.

I love you (all) and your country almost as much as my Catalonia and If somebody offends you I'mm offended too
