TCs never proposed independence. In fact the first person who proposed independence was Makarios.

Maybe Crete, Rhodos, each Greek territory and island should have a separate state so the Turks could have their way easier Soyer?

Being part of a free Greek state was a right of Cyprus as it was the right of every other Greek island and territory. You can not equate our 100% legitimate desire for freedom from foreign empires with your criminal demand to exterminate the great majority of the native Cypriot people from half of their island so you can artificially create some Turkish state there.

This prove my point, when i said "nationalism widespread among both community" and this is why i said "Hope we can learn to live near and respect each other existence" with this sort of attitude how you think you can came to end of Cyprus problem.?

On the other hand, I don't think he ever followed policies that suggested he had an ideological commitment towards Communism. It was just a tactical alliance that he created with the Soviet Union and its satellites, wasn't it?
