The place is very small so there is no chance to miss anything ;) If you want to see more ancient places or more natural beauty then you will have to rent a car and go further.

Protaras is quite small and as said you cant miss much. A lovely restuarant near your hotel is Mojitos, (don't think I spelt that write)
The food is fabulous, but you may have to book. The hotel is quite nice and near to the beach.
Have a lovely holiday :D

Just returned from the hotel. The 4* rating is def. over the top. I would rate it as a 3* at best. The main reception area and the rooms were very 80s like, the room had a funny smell and was very basic with limited space for clothes. Tired wallpaper and bed covers with worn floor mats.

However, the hotel was clean and adequate….after all who stays in their hotel room when on holiday? Btw the English breakfast looked good but the coffee was bad! The outdoor pool area was excellent and the beach is not far away at all…around a 5 min. walk.

You are centrally located, on the main road of Protaras with all the bars and restaurants. And if you want to experience Ay. Napa, there is a regular bus service from Protaras. You’ll have a great time...relax and enjoy!! :P

All I'm saying is that they are marketing the hotel as being a 4* when, in my opinion, it's not! I got a last minute deal of 100euros per night which I though was a lot for that hotel.

The star rating is given depending on the facilities that the hotel provides and is not dependent on someone's perception of the place.
