Talat and Christofias are going to meet UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-Moon .

Talat meeting will take place next Tuesday- on the 15th of July and will focus on the latest developments concerning the Cyprus issue.

The UN Secretary-General is also expected to meet separately with the Greek Cypriot Leader Demetris Christofias next week in Paris .

The meetings come just ahead of a scheduled meeting between the two leaders on the 25th of July.

During their next meeting, the two leaders will be making a final review of progress achieved by working groups and technical committees and will also discuss the start of full-fledged negotiations in order to reach a comprehensive political settlement on the island.

The Director for the European Political Affairs of the British Foreign Ministry Anthony Smith arrived in Cyprus yesterday for talks with both sides.

Mr Smith will meet the Greek Cypriot Leader Dimitris Christofias , Markos Kiprianu and Turkish Cypriot leader Talat .

The Council of Europe’s Commissioner for Human Rights Thomas Hammarberg – who is in Cyprus for contacts on human rights issues - has been received by President Mehmet Ali Talat.

The TRNC parliamentary delegation is continuing its contacts in Strasbourg.

Some fundamental mistakes are immediately apparent in halil's article and so the whole piece is disputable as a source of information.

Show goodwill and modify it accordingly halil ..... before these visitors see how childish you are in whom you address as President and whom as leader.

I know Ban Ki-moon does not share your views on this matter .......
