This is how the Annan Plan was vilified

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Greek-Cypriots are no more Greek than Americans are English!

Greek Cypriots are as Greek as any other Greek, and the only reason why we are not part of the Greek state is because this was denied to us.

Turks and British only won a battle in Cyprus. The war will never end until we win the right of freedom, self-determination and democracy on our own island.

Makarios Droushiotis does not count CBBB! He was buried by all TV stations during 2004 and all the noise back then came from the rejectionists who voted for the Turkish army to stay forever in Cyprus and they are proud for it too!

You see, when you cover your stupidity with patriotism (we lost a battle but we will win the war) you can be excused whatever wrong you do. This is how third world Cyprus works, unfortunately.

The amount of time and ink used to press on what Fried allegedly said in 2003 was phenomenal. Yet, the forum patriots are quite happy to be served lies. At the same time it is revealed that Rauf Denktash was expecting the army generals to step in, had the Plan got through.

Well, I did not vote as Denktash did and I am proud of it. The forum patriots can say "evet" to Denktash who, greatly relieved after our resounding "no", thanked God for the way we voted.

One of the myths that was used to scare Greek Cypriots were the alleged comment of U.S. Assistant Secretary for European and Eurasian Affairs Daniel Fried on June 26 2003.

During his short visit to Cyprus four days ago, Fried was asked to comment on reports that he allegedly admitted that the US administration handed Cyprus to Turkey, through the Annan Plan, as a reward for the latter’s provision of facilities to the United States for the war in Iraq.

You are such a joke, Bananiot ...such a joke indeed!!! As much and as far as I remember, and I do well, the time Daniel Fried made the alleged remarks, but more importantly, the news circulation of these alleged remarks, are dated after the Annan plan referendums; therefore they have nothing to do with the outcome of the referendum and the fact that 76% of the GCs rejected it! The case of Fried's alleged comments has never been played during the referendum campaigne, but only after!

You have a conveniently short memory Kifeas. However, you do know of course that Fried did say those things, in front of the Greek lobby! If you were Fried would you say thes things? Perhaps you would, if you wanted the Greek Cypriots to say no.

So what do we have to do to win the war?

I think Turkey has lost the war and is after a face-saving retreat.

Their objective, was recognised division and annexation of Cyprus.

This has not happened.

Instead they are forced to bolster the "colony" financially, and with great burden, and are concomitantly being denied their dream of EU entry, because of this greedy calamity ..

The Turks have lost the war!

Let's see them retreat gracefully ...

Exactly ... because you look ridiculous ... 80M people against 800,000 ... what a joke!

So carry on Turkey shouldering the burden of the slothful TCs ... .. We are all pretending you have not made the biggest blunder ever!

So get your thinking caps on and withdraw without looking too ridiculous, further, before the EU has had enough and kicks you out disgracefully ...

Just simple facts. Do you disagree with anything that I said above?
