Hey...

need to tell everyone about a great new radio station that has opened on the island and its all in English as well. No offence to any other nationality but this is what Cyprus has needed for ages. A great radio station for the english speaking.

Its only online right now but you should have a listen and if enough of us like it maybe they will get it onto FM as well.

Its great, loads of music, less adverts and its definatley more professional then what we have at the moment.

Its actually not bad. Have had it on while working and not a lot of ad's...more music. This will probably change though.

Great to have found this forum.

I just wanted tell you about us....

We are National Radio 1 based in Paphos broadcasting across the island and out to the rest of Europe via our online broadcast network.

Currently we are only online but are working with the government and relevant licensing bodies to get onto FM as soon as possible.

Thats where you can help...

We play the best mix of music from the 80's 90's and today with as little advertising in the way as possible. We have attracted over 30,000 listeners since going to air in April in 55 different countries. Over 70% listen right here in Cyprus.

We want to know what you think... the more that listen and love us, the quicker we can get national FM status from the government.
