Im sure we can make an exception for the men in black but dont forget this is the TRNC where we make the rules and if we deicide to charge we can and theres sod all you can do about it, dont worry busr your hea din the sand like always and just call it a pseudo charge you know non existant like the borders, police, courts etc etc.

...and the more the 'TRNC' make this stupid decisions to abuse human rights, the even lesser the chance it will be recognised as a country. Make the most of your stupid flags on the mountains, they wont be there much longer.

According to you we will never be recognized anyway so we can do whatever we wish and will keep our flags and everything else we want because you have no say in how we run the TRNC. You have to abide by our rules if you visit the TRNC just like any other tourist or dont visit at all.

You don't have any rules .. you are lawless ....

According to you it is right that someone deemed to be doing something wrong can be shot down in cold blood ... and that is acceptable ... because you make it all up as you go along!

Didnt know you cared whats it to you.

The interesting thing in this entry fee situation is the total lack of imagination displayed. No one could come up with a different way to find the money than the offensive one Euro charge to enter a church. Whoever thought this up must be given a prize for bad PR and total lack of marketing technique. Surely the people who travel up the length of Karpasia peninsula to visit the monastery spend a lot more than one Euro on the way there and back. Apparently that did not cross anyone's mind. The symbolic Euro was more important. The people who thought it up will be in the joint federal government tomorrow. God help us!

Maybe they view the irritation and insult value of such an act as paramount over any loss in PR ... Perhaps arising from the same camp as suggested the flag on Pentadaktylos.

I wished it were not true, but surely its 'nil point' for Northern PR.

The truth about the charge is that it is a donation to save the Donkeys not to enter the Chruch. So again the Gcs have taken an innocent event to save the Donkeys and turned it into a ridiculous attempt to get one up on the TCs, shame on you guys you have not changed one inch.

Whatever you do DON'T buy a hot dog at the stall outside the Apostolos Andreas, the sausages are suspect, if you are tempted to buy anything else, stand well back from the person in front of you in the queue, you may receive a sharp backward kick if they buy one.
