Could you please tell me in what churches, in which countries, you have to pay a compulsory fee to enter a church (as opposed to the opportunity to make a donation)?

Rome Italy.[/quote)

Oh Yeah???

I've lived in Italy, and to go to a Catholic church, to pray, you DO NOT PAY! You may pay for candles, maybe for oher religious parapernalia, but NOT to go into a church to pray. (Not unless its a Mafia church . . .)

Ever been to the sistine chapel?

I have not but is it used as a place of worship or a museum?

Isnt a chapel a place of worship?

A: When its been turned into a commercially operated museum.

Yes. Also so is the Sancta Sophia/Ayasofia in Istanbul. It is a museum today and not used as a place of worship.

While on the subject, is Hala Sultan near the salt lake, Larnaca a place of worship or a tourist attraction. Do they charge an entrance fee? (I am asking anybody in the know.)

No, they do not charge for Hala Sultan in Larnaka.

There is a collection box inside however.

Maybe the renovation should not be funded in this way but in a country where you are isolated and unable to bolster your economy due to inhumane embargoes you have to take drastic measures as we all know tourists who visit religious sites all over the world pay some sort of small fee.

VP you are full of crap. The reason you the Tc's are in this position is due to you occupying our land no other reason. As for your excuse is this the best you can muster. Rubbish you have finally proved you are an idiot

I am sticking to the subject matter you are the one who makes these outrages statements then gets the hump when he is critized by everyone else. There is no justification for charging to enter a church.

The reason you quoted was not valid. You occupy our land so you face isolation simple as that. Until you hand back what you stole you will never be recognized by the rest of the world.

Why is it most TC's are outraged but you are not. Are you a real TC or a settler as that would make sence to me as it the settlers that stand to lose the most if a solution is found.
