Entrance fee to worship at Apostolos Andreas

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

It is a place of worship. Period. It is not a museum.

You mat be right Deniz but what can you do those that keep us under inhumane embargoes should really feel guilty that they have forced us into charging people to worship. Didnt the GC woman there charge for candles?

My wife did not buy a candle. She took one and then made a generous donation.

Unless they sell them now. We were there two years ago.

Is the 'charge' forpunishment for the embargo then. I think that it is important for the Northern administration to fund the upkeep of this religo-historical site. I know external funds are also available. Perhaps even the RoC make contributions.

But charging a priest (as alleged) even a bishop for entry is ridiculous.

Another indefensible. (ozur dilerimVP) This is my opinion.

Could you please tell me in what churches, in which countries, you have to pay a compulsory fee to enter a church (as opposed to the opportunity to make a donation)?

Oh Yeah???

I've lived in Italy, and to go to a Catholic church, to pray, you DO NOT PAY! You may pay for candles, maybe for oher religious parapernalia, but NOT to go into a church to pray. (Not unless its a Mafia church . . .)
