oh, just thinking about it now is making my eyes get wet......

One goes and a new one will arrive at your doorstep begging you for 'walkies' soon.

no question about that!-- (i have 16 dog walks today for 13 different dogs) i love every one of these dogs. this particular dog that is dying, we go back along way, and i have many fond memories of him. he kept me going when i was "terminally ill." he's a good dog!

When daughters do nice things or things that make me proud, sad films, happy films, any kind of emotional display, other people crying, thoughts of previous emotional times.....

It's since I had children, I was normal before then.

Its normal to cry Niki. Stop biting your upper lip. Let it all out.

The best cries are those that start off from peeling onions and you think, well I'm crying now, I hate doing domestic chores, cry some more for the lost career, and as the tears well up, you think about the misery of a repetitious life; and now you are really boo-hooing, and so you question the very purpose of life, and let forth a gut-wrenching primeval scream as you face the utter sheer bleakness of a terminal life as a speck in creation and an ever-expanding universe rushing away from you.

And before you know it the onions are chopped; :D you blow your nose and wash your hands and everything is right with the world once more ...

Love chopping onions ... a re-birthing experience. 8)
