In the Jewish faith - are women present when the baby is circumcised? I don't know if I could watch that done to my baby!! The Guthrie test on a baby, when a few days old (when the heel is cut) made me feel like attacking the Doctor!!!!

So O, am I to be allowed to circumcise Forum members too? I think the knife might slip in some cases :-)

To answer Tess' question; women - as second class citizens in the Jewish Faith - are certainly not allowed to watch - I have met some (Fainting) Fathers who also would have liked to have have been banned form watching!
