I don't know if it is the quality of the food which makes the shoppers look the way they do, or vice versa, but Supermarket demographics / stereotypes would be an interesting topic to debate.

Religion. Get rid of that and everyone will be happy. People will stop doing things that they don't really want to do just because some guy in a beard told them to do it.

Clocks/watches - Everyone is in too much of a rush these days, trying to meet deadlines.

Marmite - Thats just tar in a jar. Yuk. Smelly and foul.

Flags - People get too worked up about patterns and colours on a piece of cloth on a stick.

Tattoos - Why do people think they are cool?
