Despite this, having 'laid' in the Dead Sea, I can attest to it being a pretty awesome experience, albeit with a backdrop of mountains and scantily-clad Scandinavians, which I would imagine is slightly better than a dark coffin-esque tank.

A foreign friend of mine living in London has had a technical jacuzzi equipment fitted in his bath and every time he makes a bath he adds sea salt in the water. He also said that it is very relaxing and re-freshing experience!
