Soyer, see what you have started. Now Sotos is playing the game. He is refering to 1571. You wait till GR gets back and he will begin with the Chirokitians.

It wouls be wise not to bring past deeds or misdeeds up all the time and look to the future. Bringing up hatred all the time serves no useful ptpose. Our leaders are currently arranging meetings to settle things. You do not hear them saying ,"you tarted this" or we did not do that".

At least follow the leaders policies. If people want to remember they can. They will not need more reminders than they already have.

Now be a good boy and go to sleep.

The same goes to all posters which disseminates hatred.

Wrong again! EOKA-B is the organisation referred to as a terrorist organisation by the UK among others. Why? Because they were engaged in the murder of civilians!

EOKA is a nationalist organisation who fought for the expulsion of the British troops from the island, for self-determination and for enosis.

Just add a 'B' for the bad guys and you'll sort it out eventually. Try it. It's not that hard. Unless you want to mix things up... to create... something like... er, deceitful propaganda?

Well said! Look to the future. Some generations will remember as they were there. In time people might be able to forgive. One should never forget though. One must always remember in order to avoid history from repeating itself. We can't hold the younger generations responsible for what their grandfathers possibly did so long ago. Most of the world has forgiven Germany for what went on during WWII. May we never forget. Why shouldn't Cypriots be able to forgive each other as well?

If you can live with that hatred inside you, I feel sorry for you. The GCs also have suffered over the years and many times over. I suppose you expect them to behave the same way. In that case there is no future peace for the future generations. Just think about it and stop being so dramatic.

How's your schooling system? You don't read very well.

I never said you should forget. I actually said one should never forget because if we forget chances are history will repeat itself.

To err is human to forgive is divine. In order to create a better future one must learn to forgive. Sooner or later. Look at Germany. Look at Japan (Hiroshima and Nagasaki). Two countries. One was forgiven, one forgave. Both are successful and peaceful today.

Put away your fears and put trust in the majority of GC's of today. They do not wish you harm if you're a TC. A minority may be wishing you harm. But I reckon a minority of the TC's wish harm upon the GC's as well. Perhaps you're one of them? Mainland Turks must go home. There is no room for Kemalist expansionist nationalist fanatics in Cyprus.

Hard nut to crack. I'd like to say born in Cyprus = Cypriot. But some will stay, some will not. It depends on many factors, too many to list here. I've already created a thread with possible scenarios.

However. If one wish to belong to Turkey it's easy to arrange. I reckon it's possible to swim to the southern coast of the motherland if you're a dedicated Kemalist enough.
