Info on Pyla

Postby David Sandmann » Tue Jul 08, 2008 9:31 am

hi all, can i please have some info on Pyla, I sell property in Cyprus from South Africa and have never been over to that beautiful country.

Our properties are based on investments and have Rental guarentees for 10 years. i am NOT looking to use this this website as a selling tool, but i do want to improve my knowledge of the area.

i know this is not as exciting as bird murderers and kids beating up each others cars, but i would appreciate feedback.

Thank you all...

ummmm thanks, I think.

We are not selling to people in Cyprus, we present this opportunity for South African investors.
There is a guarenteed rental income for 10 years and with capital growth the return will be huge.
Banks in Cyprus give us 80% bonds and the places are sold fully furnished and are also managed by a company in Cyprus.

thanx for the reply

There really isnt too much in Pyla. It is very flat and I can see it being another Oroklini in the next 5 years or so. The beach looks ok tho.

Its about 20 mintues from the airport and 40 minutes from Ayia Napa

I think you need to get on a plane David. Second hand information is great but if you are selling property you need to see the area yourself.

True Purdey. I find it very hard to believe. How can you sell the area etc when you have never been there, or even been to the country.

Pyla, half turkish, half greek locals. Controlled by the SBA (sovereign base authorities) ie the british. Many developments there, cheaper area than most in larnaca. Beach is a few minutes drive, but beaches in larnaca don't come close to beaches in the eastern side. No real views or places to visit, its just another place, nothing special.

Sorry if it has put the place down, but thats how I see it.

If you want to talk more you can email me

Good Luck

No, it's policed by the UN, none of which are British in that sector. It is near the SBA, but not part of it.

Also, that is only the centre of the village. Most of the new developments are outside the buffer zone in the RoC.
