Best Beaches in the South

Postby emmacheck » Mon Jul 07, 2008 2:00 pm

Hi All you cyprus lovers
Just wondered what beach was your favourite? Now i have only visited a few but i'd say my fave was Nissi Beach. Does anyone have any pics to prove my choice is not the best? Happy summer

From personal experience anywhere except the Paphos district coastline is fine! Unless u don't want to enter the sea ofcourse! Personally I prefer Larnaca near the SBA. It's usually clean and quiet there. :)

I used to do some land yachting on the salt flats at Ladies Mile a few years ago. At the end of a couple of hours I used to love relaxing on the beach. Times change and land yachting is now banned, so no more trips to Ladies Mile.

Is Ladies Mile at the end of Limassol? we have stopped at Limassol before, the beach was nice with friendly men fromt he huts on them but the sand wasnt as white. Larnaca beach was nice we went there too. I remember goingto Pizza hut in Larnaca and taking it onto beach with me to share. Good times :)

There are some great bays all along that coastline, and towards, plus past the Anassa Hotel.

But the ultimate, which can only be reached easily by boat, unless you don't mind driving on cliff-edges, or trekking .... are anywhere along the Akamas peninsula.

The snorkeling is amazing ..... 8)

My favourite beach is my favourite because it's so quiet so will keep quiet about it but for everyday use I love one between Protaras and Cape Greko. Not sure what it's called.
