Are there any designated nudist beaches in Cyprus?

I’ve heard there are a few out of the way, lesser frequented bays which the brave sneak onto for an au naturel dip ….. but I don’t know of any where one can go without causing a stir if stumbled upon in the all-together.

I guess naturism will be a long time coming ...

Most of us havent a clue what she looks like. So if both of you would do us the honours and post your pictures, we will give our suitable comments.

People get down and strip just about anyway on the island - my children were horrified to see a naked couple (man and woman) walking out of the water at Coral beach a few years back!

Hhhmmm .... bit of a severe reaction!

But I guess that might be why one needs a designated beach!

Besides ... doesn't one run the risk of being arrested?

Not what you expect to see at such tender ages! This was an elderly couple too - (i.e. old and very crinkly!)

Five years ago we had our own private beach ... now it has been invaded

BTW .... My father warned me against swimming at Coral Bay, yonks ago ... and frightened me so much that I speed up when I drive past it even now .... (Ooohh maybe up to 50 Km/p/h)

I was always led to believe that there was no such thing as a 'private beach' in Cyprus

I think we officially had it expropriated in the 60's (has been in the family since at least my grandfather's time) ... but we still viewed it as ours simply because, other than some cousins ... nobody else ever stopped off there ... now there are usually about half a dozen "strangers" a day
