Australia's Harry Kewell has signed with Galatasaray, cant wait to see him in flull flight in the champions league!!!

You'll be lucky if he manages a dozen games Al


he was able to step off the plane and sign the contract without getting injured so its a good sign!! He needs to be fit, not only for Gala but Australia too

To be honest I was a bit shocked when I saw they had signed him.

My thoughts were

1. The injury problems he's had over the last couple of years

and

2.Does he have the passion for the game (and the club) the Galatasary supporters demand

I'm not sure he'll be a good signing

I think our harry will do fine, he just played a couple of games for oz a few weeks ago and did well, as for the passion, i think harry needs to be in a place like gala, playing at Ali Sami Yen stadium, if that doesnt get his blood pumping he aint human! Good luck to him, i hear today that Gala have also made an offer to West Ham for Lucas Neill, What a signing that would be!! Image 2 aussies playing for cim bom, cant wait!!

There is no such team named Gala in Turkey.. name is Galatasaray

Its an abbreviation iceman, being a cypriot im sure you know all about making sentences shorter :lol:

You cannot use an abbreviation for names when they consist two words...In this case Galata (which is a district of Istanbul) and Saray (which means palace)

I was going to ask a question re the name of the club as I had seen supporters scarves with the name GalataSaray on them (capital letter on the S) you just cleared it up for me

in this weeks paper they were saying about a company who makes coloured roof tiles, people could now have their roofs in their favorite team colours.
