fortune tellers

Postby roseandchan » Sun Jul 06, 2008 9:59 am

recently a friend asked me to go with her to a fortune teller. i have never entertained anything like that before, but as she's a good friend i went along with it. personally i feel this fortune teller was a reader of people, not of cards or crystals. how many members have been to a fortune teller? do you believe? do you read your coffee cup? what do you think ?

Thats a very perceptive remark, "reader of people"

Personally, I think its all a load of cobblers, used to winkle money out of the gullible.

Who remembers "Mystic Meg" . . . the oracle (sensitive word !!!) who came on when the UK lottery first got going? Nice piece of cynicism there, though. As was said at the time, if old Meg had been any sort of a mystic she''d have won first prize every week!

I have had my coffee cup read a few times - very predictable and funny!!! Got told I would travel, receive a phone call from abroad and get a present!!! But I don't believe in fortune tellers at all, and would never pay any money for it!!!
