Are prices coming down? The last time i was in Cyprus i thought the property prices were extremely high. I found this strange as there were so many empty? :?:

Static at the moment. Seems to be little movement on new property, I would not buy at todays inflated prices.

Too many, I think the thought was prices would continue to rise and profit margins would get bigger.

I suppose you make money when you can. If the market is hot it's a smart move to get into property.

Spot on! I was in Cyprus 2 weeks ago and could not believe the amount of building still going on despite the 100's of empty apartments and half finished buildings. Greed it is!

I think some people just talk out of their arse when they go on about loads of empty properties. How do you know the stauts of these properties, I guess you must just have a sad life driving round counting huh?

Then, when you are in business, you cannot just stop, people who are employed need to keep working even at the expense of the developers. You simply cannot just wait until you sell one project before you move onto the next, otherwise you will not be in business very long. Agreed their are properties empty, but that doesn't mean that they will be for any great length of time. There are some exceptions I agree, but on the whole they do get sold.

Furthermore, if you were selling, would you sell at the lowest price, Fuck no, you wouldn't, but you would want the maximum you could get, so why do you insist on calling it greedy developers when you will the same.

Again, people make these sweeping statements without know their arse from their elbow, and if perdike doesn't like this tone well she can just *uck off back to kiwi land and give us all a break.

Have a nice evening.

I see no problem with making money while you can. Greed ? maybe you could also tag the buyers with the same.
