house prices

Postby johnny1 » Sat Jul 05, 2008 11:53 pm

it definatly all comes down to greed and i would say greed of the developers which are to blame for the high house prices,i know people who have had there property for sale for over a year and just cant find a buyer.real estates wanting way to much commision etc..
im looking to buy also but im gonna wait and i wont be buying from a developer thats for sure, prices are coming down and i reckon they will drop in price by at least 30% as in uk ,so wait until you find that bargain and dont beleive anyine who says buy now....DONT

Z4 prices in spain are now falling. too much overdevelopment. i meet people daily who are still buying in the north. i think a solution for cyprus would boost the economy along with house prices. on both sides the goverments need to address problems in the property sector and this would also help.some agreements need to be made regarding greek cypriot properties in the north as well as turkish cypriot properties in the south. as we are renovating i will say that construction costs have gone up a great deal in the last two years, thus pushing up the price of property.
