hi everyone !

im going cyprus (protaras) next sunday (13th july 2008)

im so excited have been twice before but with my parents .

there are now 6 of us going all friends age ranging from 21-30 !

am wondering how much general things like a pint etc are ! we are all taking about £700 each for two weeks will this be enough for food , drinks a few activities as we are staying self catering !

also is the exchange rate in cyprus better than it is in england as we dont know weather to change our money in to euros when we get to cyprus or before we go !

exchange rate is slightly better in cyprus at the moment, unfortunatly brits are getting a poor rate at the moment approx €1.23 at best.
there are plenty of restaurants various cuisines - cypriot/greek, indian chinese, italian etc.

most bars in protaras area are family or couple orientated
agia napa is only a short taxi ride away approx 5-6 mins
