I don't think we have anything to fear from the TMT, the collapse of Turkey is gonng to happen alot sooner and they are going to have their own shit to deal with.

I thought it sounded more like a threat to Talat than anyone on the RoC side. If they're running around calling him a traitor and making threats then maybe the 'TRNC' will be ordering a new puppet from Ankara soon.

I read a comment in another thread that the 'TRNC' side are waiting for Christofias to 'pull out of negotiations over a technicality'. I'm fairly certain that if Talat is assassinated it won't help the negotiations much either.

Could that "puppet " be Eric Dayi ??

If he's busy then I am sure lots of people would like the job, though I don't fancy the chances of long-term work. Failing that, I hear Kermit the Frog is available for work. He is an amphibian of the highest moral character and is used to having a hand shoved up his backside while someone else does the talking. I'd say he's perfect for the job.

I was in the north yesterday, and saw some banners proclaiming that "the TMT is in its 50th year". I too thought that this organisation was no longer in existence.

This is further evidence of how "trnc" society persists in being neo fascist and fanatical in it's nationalism! They remain backward in their thinking which will inevitably cause the collapse of the present peace talks. It is only a matter of time.

And Support for EOKA, no longer exists on the Dark side, does it, please do grow up.

EOKA does not exist. It remains in the pages of our history.

The "trnc" however has not yet entered into the 21st century. You still persist with Grey Wolves and TMT for heavens sake. This is the same type of nationalism which tolerates the "Turkish Piñata Party" and the "Flag Pole Excecution Party" and allows these fanatics to walk free amongst you in your corrupt society. So it is you that needs to grow up and join the rest of the world in the 21st century. It is your society that needs to mature and respect international law and human rights! It is your corrupt society that needs to drag itself from the depths of the middle ages. This is Cyprus, not Iran!

And yes, many of us are proud of the EOKA struggle for independence and self determination. Nothing wrong with that.

I have been to a few soccer games when in Cyprus. And those EOKA banners are more tongue in cheek and used to wind up Omonia Fans.

And in any case, if you are talking about EOKA, then yes most Cypriots are proud of them as they fought tooth and nail for self determination. They are the fallen sons of our nation and we owe our independance to them. They were honorable men.

And you hit the nail right on the head. They were indeed very brave for fighting a world superpower back then. You should also note that the British considered EOKA as the most effective insurgence organisations in history.

I also watched the European Champions League game between Trabzon and Anorthosis on tv. No need to remind you who won that match as I am sure that you remember it well.

In the lead up to that match there were thousands of Turk fanatics throwing rocks at the Anorthosis bus. Nothing like this happenned when Trabzon visited Cyprus. As I said, it is time to mature as a people and leave the middle ages behind you. I believe in the evolution of humanity, and in a few hundred years, you may be able to catch up to the rest of the world.

I thought the celebrations were for original EOKA not EOKA B. Even so, aren't most of the 'original' members of EOKA and TMT very old or dead? May be TMT or EOKA gone Magnus but important is what they are saying at those celebrations . İf you talk about Hellenism doesn't matter what you are EOKA or EOKA-B danger is still at there . Same thing applies for TMT celebrations .Both sides are hear what they are saying .
Than citizen of the both communities are still scaring and there is a fear always . They never stopped from talking or interfering to policies of the both sides .
i don't thing they are members are increasing at both sides but at south if you supply the guns for every grown up man to have guns in their homes what do you except from them . some one was telling while ago we must take out our G3's something like that .People can get effected even from basic talks .

Cyprus has got independence day at 16'th August even they change the celebration day as well . These are basic things are upsets the human beings stomach .
