Back to our subject. Cooking :)) Does anybody know any good recipes for mexican food. There are hundreds of them in the net, but does anyone has some good recipes that he/she tried ??

Sorry Jewel, (morning by the way), last mexican I tried to cook myself had disastrous after-effects...Image From experience, I'd recommend going Thai instead. :lol:

Good morning to you cannedmoose. It looks like the good has gone away for you :) You like Thai? I dont like it. I think is (nerovrasto), if you know what I mean. Mexican food is good if you know what to eat and if it is not too spicy and hot.

No, you'll have to explain what nerovrasto means re. I agree, Mexican is nice, but it's so easy to go over the top on the spices... it's then that it becomes dangerous :lol:

Another tip, stay away from Portuguese food as well, that has a similar effect.

Hmmmm nerovrasto (Did you understand what i said ?) i think in English is the food that is not cooked with oil and is boiled. I think that is the meaning.

I've just worked out what you meant jewel. In English it literally means 'water-boiled', but according to a website I just found it better translates as 'this constitutes a violation of a vegetable's right to be cooked' :lol:

Apparently nerovrasto is termed a sin to a Greek cook... despite being English, I agree, can't stand boiled veg :eyecrazy:
