HI Bubbles - yep filmed in Portmerion, North Wales and it had the big white bouncing balls called "rovers"

Patrick McGoohan wasn't it ? I remember that, God he was handsome, dark and brooding. Compulsive viewing when I ws a kid.

I HATED that show - I was terrified of the big balloon things - almost as scary as daleks

The Prisoner isn't my thing but I do have a random Prisoner connection. One of my neighbours' brother was on the special effects team on the series and apparently the big white ball that used to chase him was a weather balloon.
