There is one thing wrong Miltiades, don't you know it? With one sovereignty and one citizenship, how will they secure the permanent and perennial, absolute and unchallenged Turkification -as a separate people (nation,) of such a "God promised and given" gift they had the blessing to receive in 1974!

Has the TCs side objected to this? do you knwo something we dont know?

Deputy Prime Minister Foreign Minister Turgay Avci has called for the immediate start of full-fledge negotiations on the Cyprus issue.

Mr Avci said that the Turkish Cypriot Side is ready for a solution based on a bi-zonal order and political equality of the two founding states maintaining Turkey’s position as a guarantor power on the island.

He also called on the Greek Cypriot Side to make its position clear but added that the Turkish Cypriots will never accept to be patched up to the Greek Cypriot Administration.

The Foreign Minister stated that the political will expressed by the Turkish Cypriots towards a solution during the 2004 referenda still exists but said `this does not mean that we are ready to sign any kind of agreement`.

Stressing that the negotiations process should continue, he said `it is very important for the Turkish Cypriot Side to bring its views and criteria for a solution to the negotiations table`.

He noted that efforts to strengthen the Turkish Cypriot People and the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus will be continued as the negotiations process goes on.

Where is Tim to read this? He claimed that the Turkish side is not distorting the meaning of the term "constituent states" to translate into "founding states!"

As for Tur-gay Avci’s demands for “maintaining Turkey’s position as a guarantor power on the island,” RoC is and will continue after the solution to be an independed, sovereign and democratic nation-state, and it doesn’t need the “guaranty” of any one other country, more so that of backward, totalitarian and militaristic one such as Turkey! It is Turkey that which badly needs guarantors due to its non-existent democratic, social and political culture, and we are willing to help her in this direction! Tell your "Deputy Prime Minister /Foreign Minister" to piss off!

Kifeas ,
At Turkish Part of the island every party has got their own ideas and programmes .They have rights to says their views .Now we are at negations process . You have same things in south as a parties or individuals .

İmportant part of is what the TC's peoples are thinking .
At the end we will have a referandum .
keep in your mind majority of the TC's said Yes to Annan Plan .
At annan plan there was a 2 constituent states and single citizenship and also Turkey as a guarantor power on the island with Greece and UK.
since yesterday TC's saying same things Bi-zonal ,Bi-communal equal partnership .

Most of the peoples in the streets are questioning What does it mean ONE SOVEREINTY AND ONE SINGLE CITENSHIP .
time will show up what they understand from it . also depends on how the politicians will guide the people .Things are looks complicated at northern part of the Cyprus .There are also groups are protesting very strongly last agreement between 2 leaders.

No one can use meaningless words in order to promote an argument. Here Mr.Avci refers to the two "TWO FOUNDING STATES" nonsense!! Which founding states and when were they founded !!
