It's like anything in life, if you want to succeed and you are prepared to work at it and adapt it can be done.
Simon you seem very keen on Cyprus and cannot quiet make up you mind wether to give it a go, have a go..

My mind is made up Purdey and I won't be giving it ago just yet

Hi All

Thanks so much for your time and effort with the replies! It all really helps. The NHS info was a good help!
I do plan to work full time and have a lot of office skills but i know that unless i speak Cypriot/Greek it can be hard.
As for the locals i have always tried my hardest to be respectful and kind when visiting Cyprus on holidays. I always try to speak some greek - liek the thank you's, small sentences etc! They appreciate us Brits trying because i always get a smile as if they are happy i tried even if i got it wrong.
I know it will be hard work moving but i am fed up with life in the UK, and im only 24. The weather, the crime, cost of fuel, cost of food, public transport! all crap!
My dad has bad arthritus and when he is in warmer climates he doesnt suffer so it will help him. My partner is a plasterer so he could work on hotels/ new builds etc, but me and mom...well we'd end up being in a shop which could potentially be nice but not 40 hours a week! i will keep reading your replies and doing my research. thanks again
Emma and family!
