Well you certainly haven't had the electrifying response you thought you would get .

I saw a old beetle for sale at the roadside a couple of months ago ~ I'll keep my eyes open for it whilst I'm driving around larnaca .

I actually saw it twice ~ in different locations ~ so it's either moved location again or been sold .

I'm not sure if it is the volts variety or not but I remember thinking it was in good condition but probably very expensive .

I looked at a motor bike earlier this year but the seller had a very strange idea of it's value ~ he wanted Cy£2500 ~ the same bike in the UK would sell for around GB£1000 and probably in better condition.

So for your beetle expect to pay top price for something that's probably knackered

I'll have a look for you .

yes i know the prices wanted over here are a little bit extreme as i know in the uk you could pick up a good second hand car much cheaper than in cyprus but i have wanted one of these cars for many years and am willing to take one i can do up myself with help of my mechanic brother in law but i appreciate your help bill and will be waiting for your response if you do find one

I'm a nice guy Carleen but I'm not that nice that I'll spend the next week driving around Larnaca looking for it BUT I will vary my routes to the places I usually go to increase the possibility of spotting it.

To be honest you would probably be better of sourcing one from the UK as it might work out cheaper

Will be in touch if I see anything
