Quite a few locals on line today. The taking of the caged dogs 24/7 out for its' weekly run and abuse, the litter dumping out of car windows, the washing of cars, patios and pavements and inflicting cruelty on defenceless animals must have been carried out earlier.

in 2007 Cyprus contributed €10,000,000 to the EU coffers but received €170,000,000 in grants!!!!

Well I'm happy ~ I've now got pavements in my street ~ even though most people don't use them ( exept for parking ) it's a start in the right direction .

What are you babbling on about? I did not mention I was ecstatic to be in the EU. I do agree everyone moans on the forum though!

My prime concern is cruelty to animals, and yes, it happens everywhere. Whoope-bloody-doo! However, it is more prevalent in Cyprus as the majority of Cypriots still need to evolve and reach the 21st century, and take responsibility and be accountable for their actions, rather than spurting out ' if you don't like it go home, or 'oh but in UK, blah, blah blah'!! How immature and arrogant. Education, education, education!

Cheers! At last! I cannot understand their culture. Maybe being cruel makes them feel 'big'. A form of bullying I guess to compensate for their inadequacy. It's not just the GC's but TC's as well. :!

Better to abuse animals than to go around the world and abuse human beings treating them like animals with no rights! And in the UK don't you butcher every day millions of defenseless animals to eat them, take their skin and make other products??? I am sure you do. So that makes you an animal abuser AND a hypocrite!! So what remains? The litter dumbing from cars? OK, nowhere is perfect. But I don't think that can cause any problem to EU. The drunken population of the UK going around Europe and winning and causing trouble is a much more serious issue for other EU countries. You are a good example of that
