Personally I would say it's very risky and if you intend only having Brits as your customer base it will restrict your sales dramatically.

There are so many companies selling white goods you will be one of the many and to compete you will have to match their often discounted prices plus deliver and install at no extra cost within a maximum of a couple of days.

So Gav ~ what kind of business would you suggest for me ~ take into consideration that my field of expertise is of no use what so ever in Cyprus.

I didn't really want to upset his train of thought as he suffers somewhat with tunnel vision and often goes of the rails with some of the more complicated posts .

I must admit there are times he manages to "express" his thoughts in some posts very well.

It's about time we went for another coffee Phill ~ my turn to pay this time as my dole money has just come through so I've got a couple of bob to spare

Bill ~ waiting for Cyprus to move to the 20th century so I can get a decent paying job .

Dear bill, I cant comment on his previous contributions as I am not familiar. However, I'm sure you'll turn off at the right junction sooner or later and once you have the right ticket, you'll be chuffing happy... stepping off the platform in style... Brass in pocket and Mazda keys in hand... and a big smile

Dear Jayjay
As Bill says, white goods here are very competative as a lot of it is imported direct from places like China etc.. you may be to approach developers directly, but you'll probably find teir best friend is already supplying them. best luck..
