Could you also help, what is an average salary for a financial administrator / accountant with a few yrs off experience?

szics, depends where you coming from... Cyprus using UK standards in Accounting... if you have a few years of experience you could be getting somewhere near 1000Euros a month.

thanks. i am from hungary, experiences are okay, but I thought an accountant can get about 1500-1800. (with university degree, and 1-3 yrs experience (i have more just this is required))

szics, regardless of your degree... the maximum you will get (if you lucky) is 1000 eur a month.
IN Cyprus your qualification will not count unless you pass a a series of courses and get relevant local certificates. I know many people working as accountants and they don't get more than 600-700 CYP a month... Even if you have MBA from UK, your chances of getting more than 1200 Eur a month are slim. It will take you few years of hard and dedicated work and series of promotions to get somewhere to 1800 Eur.

You could do what most other people do to earn more money - get a job in a bar in the evenings, then you will get to meet lots of people at the same time.
