Do you mean by taxi, coach or by car? Big difference in price so more information needed, Michelle.

It's about 2.5 hr journey and quite easy by just following the by-pass motorway from Paphos past Limassol through to Larnaca where you will take the Napa/Paralimni sign post. Not sure if your coming from the airport but if you are, just follow the signs for the motorway.

To be quite honest for the amount of money it's going to cost you to pay for a taxi from Paphos ( NOT PATHOS ) to Ayia Napa and return one or two week later you might as well hire a car at Paphos airport and have the benefit of the car during your holiday ~ book through the internet to get the best prices .

It is possible by bus from Paphos via Limassol and Larnaca assuming you take a taxi from the airport but it's going to take ages and if you have already spent more than 6 hours getting there from the UK another 4 hours plus on buses with all your luggage will just about kill you off

Just out of curiosity why on earth did your daughter book to fly to Paphos if she is holidaying or what ever in Napa :?

Yep they do ~ took the slots from BA ~ and the service has gone down hill since.

My son tried the "I'm coming with easy jet will you pick me up" but it didn't work ~ he's flying by CY airways into Larnaca now and to be quite honest from what he's said there's not a lot of difference in the cost .

While on the subject of travelling, can anyone tell me the best way to Paphos from Nicosia. I would like the fastest route. Would it be via Limasol or south of the Troodos range through the scenic route over the hills?

I expect to travel by car.

Thank you

The fastest way is from the motorway through Limassol. It should take you about 1 and a half hours that way. If you go from the mountains it will take more, a lot more if you get lost. ;)

I never tried it but for sure it would be much slower. You would have to pass from many steep turns and some tiny villages that some villager would be parked in the middle of the road with his pickup and you would have to wait for him to move it before you continue your trip  Most people know only of the touristic parts of Troodos, but some areas of Troodos that usually nobody ever visits are like that!
