The Ottoman Empire is past history.
In Omar Khayyams immortal words (if I remember right)
"Dead yesterday, unborn tomorow, what does it matter if today be sweet".
May have no relevance to the topic, but no point harking to the past. We live toay and must look to the future.

All his energies could be spent in a more positive slant. Misplaced patriotsm. He ought to understand first of all the concept of Ottomanism. I fear he hasnt a clue.
