I didn't actually enquire of the dog's nationality miltiades but, since you have raised the question of it, the cavalier manner in which the dog assumed he had every right to invade the privacy of my property, coupled with the fact that he showed such disrespect once he had arrived, leads me to believe that he may well HAVE been a Yank.

If it transpires that the dog IS of an American breed (I will make enquiries) then the next time I see it, perhaps I should apologize and invite him in (I know by the goolies that it is a HE) and allow him to take possession of my home lest he secures the help of many thousands of others of his ilk and unlawfully attacks while I sleep.

I daresay there would be some who would approve, perhaps we might endow such a force with an 'Honorary Title' "Miltiades's Marauders" even.

  (how about that?)

miltiades, as a follow up to the above post, may I say that you seem to have instilled some of your FINER qualities into the behaviour of your dog ?.

What a disgusting contribution to a topic you have made, I stress 'FINER Qualities' since I am sure we are all aware of just how low you are able to descend in your more base contributions.

Tut Tut miltiades, REALLY !.

I think kicking a dog while the poor animal is cocking his leg up is rather cowardly . I bet the dog was a tiny poodle , about your size in stature no doubt .
Pick on someone your own size mate , let me know where you live and when I'm next in Sweet Sunny Cyprus I pay you a visit and I will cock my leg up against your tree !!!

I don't think animals have the right to pee on cars ;) And after all what Eliko did was to kick him a bit. He didn't kill him!! The worst thing that could happen to the dog is to be neutered somehting that all you animal lovers do to your pets anyways ;) One kick by eliko could do in one second what expensive vets and trainers would need lots of time and money to do :P ;)

At a time when the Forum was going through a rather dull patch, I decided that it might be a good idea to introduce a little levity into the proceedings and so I 'INVENTED' the story about the dog and his 'Cocked Leg'.

I actually would have expected a far greater amount of condemnation from members than I received since most people are very fond of animals (particularly dogs) however, there was a 'Dual Purpose' to my story and I will explain it.

The general news we were all receiving at the time (of my little scam) was mostly concerned with the horrors that were being unlawfully inflicted on innocent civilians in many parts of the world.

Small children and the elderly were (through no fault of their own) being subjected to starvation and deprivation YET, not one word of sympathy was extended towards their sufferings.

Indeed, it would appear that, regardless of the 'Politics' involved, there are some who actually AGREE with the massacre and mutilation that is taking place in the world, IN THE NAME OF DEMOCRACY.

NOT wishing to stir up a Hornet's nest, I think it is worth a mention that a 'Virtual Kick' in a Dog's goolies, seems to have created wider interest than the deaths of so many innocents during the same period.

THAT is how 'Politics' operates, direct public attention to 'Minutiae' and 'Major' events will pass unnoticed.

If you don't believe me, look back over the past week's events.

As to miltiades and his offer of confrontation, 'Laughable !!'  , the fact that you have been defeated in your weak arguments is probably the reason for your sudden fury, forget it miltiades, you were always on the losing side.

In my humble opinion.
