50%-50%?

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

50%-50%?

Postby Piratis » Mon May 02, 2005 2:45 pm

It seems to me there are more active TCs in this forum. How about to limit the number of posts by TCs to the same level as that of the GCs?

I am sure the TCs that are asking for 50%-50% in everything shouldn't have a problem with this, right?

Sure, no problem, but I suggest a different way of getting there. Instead of limiting TC participation, how about GCs contributing more? Why don't you, for example, ask your buddies to join in and enlighten us in democracy and human rights? :-)

How about............ tc’s get 65% of participants, gc gets 35%. GC gets to veto any messages.
Then tc's declare that’s not fair, we really cant get our points heard, and we change the rules.
tc's then get to control everything that goes in and out of the site.
Then you send in your army and illegally kick us of 35% of the site, and restore the balance of power.

Don’t know what point I’m making, but this is the nonsense that we’ve lived for the last 45 yrs

So do you want 50%-50% or not?

P.S, choose which of the above posts by TCs should be deleted, since it violates the 50%-50% rule.

How about GCs dominate this forum. Claim it is a Greek forum and only allow T.Cs to send 15% of the posts, but still claim that this forum is Cypriot and all Cypriots are equal!?!?

How about...

Does this mean you do not accept 50%-50%? I didn't get an answer yet?

you can veto all of them if you like

And what do you think will the result be? Better for this forum, or worst?

This thread from the man with 2181 posts!

If this forum were a democracy (which it is not) and if you wished to change the rules to include limits on how many posts indivduals can make and how many can be made from each community, then presumably you would be happy with a straight numerical vote of existing members on such rule changes, even if there were more TC members. And even if they decided to propse and vote for only TC moderation of the forum presumably you would be happy to accpet the will of the majority?

I on the other hand would support a democratic system that required seperate consent from both the TC members and the GC memebers before any such changes could be imposed.
