CC,

A terrific picture and all that beautiful moist grassland and deciduous woods! AND WATER

It's made me realize and appreciate just how much I miss the UK.....

You are so lucky to live in a place like that. Want to swap? this Middle Eastern heat is too much today. :D

I certainly do love the rose and it's "spikey" thorns! I need to be pricked sometimes to confirm to myself just how glorious a heritage I have come from.
I thought I also loved the intense Mediterranean with it's predictable seasons and never ending welcome but she has let me down of late and I need to return to what I know best. :D
