"Gooten tak. Danka shen."

"Konnichiwa. Arigato."

"Buon giorno. Grazie."

Whew! That's about all I know in those languages.

I'm glad I don't have speak German, Italian, or Japanese in Cyprus... or here in the USA.

Honest guv. I never complain about the beauty of nature. Especially when people nurture it.

I Live in the Midi Pyrenees ( SW France), which is very similar to where your photo's are taken.

My country - along with others - gives a lot of food and aid to the needy in other countries. I like how we just gave a lot of food to hungry North Koreans, but I doubt the food will make it to the commoners there.

Lucky Girl! thre is nothing to compare to what nature can show in all its beauty, combind with the dwellings of previous generations who lived in harmony with natue instead of destroying it...

Deniz : i also love Cyprus in its own way, i have been made very welcome here.
I also have a timeshare just outside of Kruger national park in South Africa and that is nature in the raw, but all three places are special in their own way to me.

Yes BOF ,
I feel very lucky to live here, I agree with you totally, where I am people work with nature and not against it, building is strictly controlled, and planning permission is hard to get.

The similarity to southern England is what struck me immediately, it is very much cheaper here than the U.K., although I have been told that house prices are coming down now,
