sorry, but i did not find the cypriot food all that tasty. thre wa a good kabob place near my hotel, but they closed for the christmas holidays, and on christmas eve alot of places were closed. i hate fast food, i hate eqating in a place i can eat at in my own town, but i didn't have alot of choice. and it happened to be the best food i had the whole time in CY.

C'mon, GG, Cypriot food isn't bad at all. I recently ate at TGIF for the first time after which I resolved never to be repeat customer.

As much as I like the States I will say one thing about American food. Crap !!

I have eaten in Amsterdam, London, New York, Athens and other places. Cyprus cuisine is the best by FAR!!!

I can not name just one, so here is the list:

Greek/Cypriot
Souvlaki
Sheftalia
Gyros (pork or beef)
Talattourin -Tzatziki
Greek or Cypriot Salat

Other
Pizza
Snitzer
Pork Chops
Hamburger (not the fast food types)

I have eaten in Amsterdam, London, New York, Athens and other places. Cyprus cuisine is the best by FAR!!!

to each his own....i did not care for the food in cyprus....the best meal i had the whole time i was there was on christmas eve at a TGI Fridays.

By the way, there is TGI Fridays in NYC near the Grand Central Station. Do u know that place? I found it very cool when I had my lunch there some time ago.

C'mon, GG, Cypriot food isn't bad at all. I recently ate at TGIF for the first time after which I resolved never to be repeat customer.

I ate there once myself 7-8 years ago. Moderate quality food compared to other places.
